Success stories
KAA Ghent
Halfway through the 2014-'15 season, head coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck decides to recruit a sport psychologist for the coaching staff because his team was not meeting the targets. We joined for the training camp in Oliva Spain, where we built the foundations for a new approach. What followed was more than anyone could have hoped for, week after week the team accumulated victories, with the league title as climax of the season. The following seasons, the team proved to be a worthy contender in the Champions League, with an unforgettable win in London where we beat Tottenham in a sold-out Wembley stadium. For a sport psychologist these were very interesting seasons, seeing how players dealt with the pressure, collaborating with different coaches, all of them real experts in their domain, and consulting with a medical staff that was incredible nice to work with.
